Have you ever asked yourself why people are so mobile, why we spend so much just to reach a certain place? The reason behind traveling varies from one traveler to another. Here are some of the reasons:
- Bridges connects places and we use them to connect with the people we love. We may have lots of relatives scattered around the globe and traveling to their place allows us to see and spend time with them.
- People travel to relax and take a break from the tiring and stressful life we normally have.
- People travel out of curiosity. We may hear the news about a certain place that is said to be capable of giving you an extraordinary experience. We feed our curiosity and visit the place. We are adventurous and we travel to explore those that they haven’t experienced yet.
- People travel to get better career opportunities. This is especially true for people who came from countries who do not have quite well enough economic status and career opportunities.
- Every business wants to grow and growing means reaching out a larger market that can be situated in different places. Traveling allows us to meet people, effectively talk about business and finally closing a deal.
- Writers, painters and other artists travel to get new inspirations and ideas for their next creation. Exploring a new environment is a good source of inspiration.
Whatever reason we may have for traveling let’s make sure we get the most out of it so that we may keep in our hearts and mind that the place you visited became a part of our lives.
i like the idea of traveling because i feel it expands horizons. suddenly, the world seems much wider and more vast, and full of different experiences.
as opposed to just shuttling from home to work and back again, all week…
